At the small scale, monitoring a home mining setup isn’t difficult. It usually involves checking pool data and occasionally checking the temperatures on your equipment. Once scaling occurs, however, this becomes problematic. More so if you are relying on paid staff to do your monitoring. Heat becomes a bigger issue at scale, and the multitude of equipment can not only be hard to manage but hard to identify when a problem does occur.
There isn’t a good out-of-the-box solution for fully monitoring your mining facility. Most operations rely on a handful of rickety tools that are “mostly right” and hard to configure. Room temperature monitoring is critical, and doing the remotely is more critical. While there are solutions out there for remotely monitoring room temperatures, they aren’t monitoring critical temperatures within your equipment.
VME can solve this. We can customize, set up, and deploy a suite of tools that will give you peace of mind when you’re away from your facility. Security, room temperatures, internal hashrates, pool hashrates, internal chip temperatures, employee access, and in some cases… emergency shutdown scenarios.
